Caring for your Leather
There are many types of leathers, each serving a different purpose. Some require a bit more maintenance than others, but these general guidelines can help ensure a long life for any type of leather. For keeping your leather in great shape, we recommend our reading the following points carefully
Cleaning
To remove small scratches, use a clean fingertip to gently rub out the scratch. The natural oils in your skin will remove most small scratches. To remove dirt, grime or surface residue, use a soft, damp (not wet) cloth. Gently rub - don't scrub - for removal. For a deeper clean, we suggest using something like conditioner or gentle cleansing moisturizers that will help preserve the natural lubricating oils instead of stripping them. The cleaner you choose should not contain caustic chemicals, harmful abrasives or leave any greasy residue behind. Before applying anything to your leather item, be sure to test in a hidden area to ensure the cleaner is compatible with the leather. Once you've decided whether the leather care product is acceptable, gently apply with a soft, clean cloth & follow the instructions of your selected leather care product.
Maintenance
To preserve your leather & keep it looking supple; use an all-natural leather conditioner. As always, test the conditioner in a hidden area with a soft, clean cloth to ensure the conditioner is compatible with the leather. Treat your leather gently and keep if away from direct sunlight or moisture to have a product that lasts a lifetime.
Storing Leather
Remember that leather is a natural material and should be stored in a breathable bag, not plastic, to prevent the growth of mildew and bacteria. You can store it directly in your cupboard without a bag as long as the cupboard is away from dampness or direct sunlight. Avoid folding your leather product while storing or else permanent fold marks may appear.

*Do not use leather cleaner or conditioner on suede or nubuck leathers.
Color Transfer
Even though it is highly unlikely that our colors bleed, some colour transfer may occur from our leather depending on the treatment its been under. Please take extra care when using your coloured and black leather products near light-coloured fabric as colour may rub off over time and use. This is especially true in humid or damp weather.
Likewise, our light-coloured leathers are susceptible to colour transfer if exposed to dark coloured fabrics or leather. We recommend you limit exposure to such materials to protect the colouring of your product. You can also apply a thin layer of wax to your leather to make it water resistant and stop the colour from coming off. Gently rub the wax in with a clean cotton cloth as per need.
